Meet the Band
Cartwheels has four members and formed in Fall of 2021 in Harrisonburg, VA. They have a combined experience of over 30 years in the live music industry and enjoy their craft as much as the audience does!
Bass, Singing & Songwriting
Evan Sposato
“Good gelatin always molds”
Like a sponge soaking up water, the palm-grease-WD40-ridden-dumpster-funk must be cleaned up. How many plucks does it take to reach perfect temperature for boiling “The Chicken” on a P-Bass? One can’t be sure but I’ll test whatever theories are conjured up to get down. Freakish hands and devilish plans are how you reach Funky Town. Avid bird watcher (does not know what they are, just calls them “guy”).
Drums & Songwriting
Jeremiah Wilcox
“I’m him.”
Mr. Wilcox started playing drums at 2 years old, but didn’t take it seriously until he was 3. Additionally, he started playing basketball at conception, but didn’t take that seriously until he started playing drums. Will break sticks as often as he breaks hearts. Thinks Ian might be a fish.
Guitar, Singing & Songwriting
Rheese Crutcher
“I never run, I just hide”
Wanna-be John Mayer. Zones out constantly, will not pay attention to a thing you say. Plays a pretty mean guitar, but makes some questionable faces. Does not miss, except for when he does. Will check his appearance in every reflective surface he passes. Overdressed most of the time, but underdressed when it matters. Started playing music “to get girls.” Does not get girls.
Piano, Singing & Songwriting
Ian Lassetter
“Worms are a very underrated and nutritious food source”
Manufactured on the bottom of the Mississippi River, will melt your face like steel in the mill. Enjoys human activities like breathing air with his lungs, walking with his two feet, and living on land. Played piano for over 15 years, with a significant part of that time being underwater.
